Burton defender Phil Edwards has signed a one-year contract extension to keep him at the League Two champions until 2016.
An ever-present this season, Edwards joined the Brewers on a free transfer in 2013 following his release from Rochdale. Burton manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink told the club's official website: "I am very happy with Phil signing a new contract. "He is part of the future of the club and his new contract is well deserved. He was absolutely magnificent last year."
