Wycombe winger Kevin Betsy wants to represent the Seychelles at this summer's Indian Ocean Island Games.

His decision comes 32 years after his father Lewis won a silver medal in the inaugural tournament in 1979. Speaking to the Seychelles Nation, the 33-year-old said: "My mum and dad wanted me to play for the Seychelles and I feel now is the right time in my career as a player to help my country. I'm happy it has happened. "I have a very good relationship with the coach and I want to represent the Seychelles at the IOIG." Seychelles coach Ralph Jean-Louis was impressed with Betsy's impact on the squad, saying: "I didn't expect him to make such an impact in his first match after just one training session. "He knows the game and keeps it simple. He gives us the experience we're looking for. He has a very good understanding with the other players on the field."
