Barnsley have signed Scunthorpe United striker Chris Dagnall for an undisclosed fee on a two-and-a-half-year contract.Dagnall will once again link up with Keith Hill, who he played under at Rochdale. The 25-year-old, who has scored six goals in all competitions for the League One outfit this season, will not be available for the FA Cup third round tie with Swansea having already played for the Iron in the competition. Hill told the Chronicle: "Chris will make himself an instant hit with the Barnsley fans. "He works hard, has bags of energy and can be a bit of a fox in the box too. We need to ignore the fact that he's signed from Scunthorpe and the fact that I worked with him at Rochdale."
