Torpey leaves York post

York have confirmed that Steve Torpey has left his position as assistant manager at Bootham Crescent.
The 44-year-old ends his seven-year association with the Minstermen, first as a player and then various coaching roles including caretaker manager and assistant to Russ Wilcox. "Everyone at York City would like to thank Steve for his significant contribution to the club over the past seven years and wish him all the best for the future," a club statement read.
