MK Dons' Adam Chicksen has been offered a new contract by the League One club, according to reports.

Milton Keynes-born Chicksen's one-year option taken up by the Dons last May will expire in the summer. The defender, 21, has enjoyed his best season since making the step up to the first team from the academy in 2008, with manager Karl Robinson using him in both full-back positions and further up the flanks on the wings. Chicksen has made 37 appearances for the Dons in all competitions during the 2012/13 campaign and has added goals to his game, scoring his first for the club in November's 6-1 FA Cup win over Cambridge City before netting twice in February in the Dons' 1-1 draws against Carlisle and Preston.
