New deals for York pair

York have offered new deals to player of the season Lanre Oyebanjo and striker Michael Coulson.

The pair will consider the offers in the coming weeks while on holiday but the Minstermen confirmed that Calvin Andrew, Sander Puri, Adam Reed and Chris Dickinson have all been released. They also explained the situation surrounding defender Tom Allan. "A new, enhanced contract was offered to defender Tom Allan around four weeks ago," a club statement read. "Unfortunately, Tom has not responded to the offer and the club has therefore withdrawn the contract and released the player. York City Football Club will be eligible for compensation for Tom's development should he sign for another football club."
