Midfielder has one game left to play of loan spell
Carlisle United manager John Ward wants to re-sign Preston North End midfielder Joe Anyinsah in January.
Anyinsah is nearing the end of his three-month stint at Brunton Park, having scored three goals in 11 League One appearances for Carlisle.
He has impressed Ward with his performances and could be offered a return to the club when the transfer window opens in January.
"I have now spoken to Preston about Joe and reminded them that he goes back to them on the 18th of this month," said Ward.
"It takes three parties to be interested to make something happen, so we'll see where we go with it come January.
"He has one more game with us, and I hope he goes out with a bit of a flash and then we can think about who slots in to the team afterwards."
