Charlton's players are chipping in to provide free coaches for almost 250 fans for the FA Cup clash at Halifax next weekend.
The Addicks are to put on five free coaches to encourage supporters to get up early and make the long trip north for the 12.30pm kick-off on Sunday, November 13. Boss Chris Powell told the club website: "The support we have had on our travels this season has been fantastic, and with such an early start, the players realised some people might be tempted to stay at home and watch the game on the television. "It will make a big difference to us if we have good support on the day, and it's also a way we can say thanks to people who have made the longest trips already. "We know it's expensive for them, and while it's a small gesture, we hope it shows we do appreciate their time and effort."
