Pools appeal over Hartley card

Hartlepool have appealed against the yellow card awarded to defender Peter Hartley during Saturday's win at Scunthorpe.
Hartley was booked by referee Andy Woolmer during the first half of Pools' 2-0 win, but DVD footage of the incident shows it was fellow defender Evan Horwood who committed the foul on Scunthorpe striker Bobby Grant. Hartley is currently on four bookings for the season and will miss next Saturday's home clash with Yeovil if the appeal is turned down. Horwood is currently on three bookings, but the yellow card will be transferred to his disciplinary record if Hartley's appeal is successful.
