Mandaric: We must keep focus

Sheffield Wednesday chairman Milan Mandaric has warned against complacency as the club remain on course for promotion.
The Owls have won their last five games in all competitions and sit in the second automatic promotion spot, three points clear of third-placed MK Dons. But Mandaric insists plenty of hard work lies ahead and said in a statement: "We're approaching the end of the first half of the season and we can all be happy and pleased with what we have achieved, but there is no room for celebration yet. "We have to keep our feet on the ground and go one game at a time to move forward. We can only achieve this by sticking together and giving each other support. "I will support the manager and the club off the pitch and I know our amazing supporters will continue to back the team on it. Maybe come the Wycombe game on the final day of the season we can then look back and summarise our hard work and success, but for now we keep our focus, which begins with this busy period over Christmas." The former Portsmouth and Leicester chairman added: "This wonderful club cannot be allowed to get into the position it was 12 months ago when I was parachuted into Hillsborough. There were so many difficulties here over the past decade or so, which is why I have such tremendous admiration for our supporters."
