Dean Smith was over the moon after Walsall stunned one of his old clubs with two late goals to beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-1.
Ryan Lowe put the Owls in front in the 60th minute following Chris Lines' cross. But just after it was announced there would be five minutes of time added on, Claude Gnakpa bagged an equaliser for the Saddlers with a deflected shot. Four minutes into stoppage time, defender Manny Smith was in the right place to head home the winner. 'I thought we deserved it. The lads played really exceptionally well - a really good performance,' said Smith. 'We were unfortunate to be a goal down and I just felt Claude might pop up with a goal and it was nice for Manny to get the winner. 'Sheffield Wednesday are a big club and you saw the following they had (3,723 fans taking up two sides of the stadium). It took a really good performance to win the match. 'I have told the players they have given that type of performance in recent weeks and not got the results. It was all about three points and I told the lads to enjoy it but now we have to make sure we are right for another big game - Rochdale at home on Saturday. I said at half-time the only thing we lacked was a bit of belief.'
