Accrington's Bryan Hughes is hoping to get his "future sorted" this week amid reported interest from Swindon and Bradford.

The 35-year-old midfielder has been an influential figure at Stanley since joining on a non-contract basis back in October, helping them soar up the League Two table. Hughes was named player of the month for December after scoring two goals as Accrington took 10 points from a possible 12 to move within reach of the play-off places. Saturday's 3-0 defeat to Barnet was the first time John Coleman's men had lost in the league since his arrival and they'll be keen to tie him up to a permanent deal. Skysports.com understands fellow League Two sides Swindon and Bradford are interested in Hughes while a top Blue Square Premier club are believed to have made a move. The attacking midfielder, who played in the Premier League for Charlton, Birmingham and Hull earlier in his career, told skysports.com: "I am keen to get my future sorted this week as I have a few options on the table. "I'm really enjoying my time at Accrington."
