Boss sweats on Baldwin fitness

Exeter boss Paul Tisdale has revealed that defender Pat Baldwin may not feature again this season.

The 31-year-old centre-back was training with his City team-mates before Saturday's win at Cheltenham but Tisdale says he is still a long way from match fitness having undergone a knee operation. "Pat has started to do the very basic football drills that the team will do doing the warm-up, but he is not into any competitive training yet," Tisdale told the Express & Echo. "In relative terms he has got long way to go yet - we are probably still talking two or three weeks before he will join in competitive training. "I think sadly for Pat, time is running out in terms of the season in terms of how many games we have left to play. "Pat can only focus on being fit as quickly as possible and so can our physio."
