Championship leader admits he is in a "great position" for the title

An unflustered Sebastian Vettel has insisted that he has no fears about predictions of rain for this weekend at Interlagos.

Should the weekend ultimately stay dry, then Red Bull appear to have little to fear over their RB8's competitiveness, particularly as the World Champions have won in Brazil in each of the last three seasons - finishing first and second in the most recent two campaigns. Vettel acknowledged the team's historical strong record since 2009 and had to agree that they were in a great position to clinch the second part of their prospective title double. "The circuit seemed to suit our car in previous years. We need to confirm it this year," he added. "So all eyes on Friday to start the weekend to get into the groove. I think we can be as confident as we could in this stage. Obviously we know there is a lot ahead but I think we are in a great position."
