A sneak preview of what to expect on this Friday's edition...

More from F1

Man of the moment Pastor Maldonado will be taking centre stage on this week's edition of The F1 Show - an episode which promises to be packed both literally and metaphorically! Not only will Pastor, fresh from his stunning F1 victory at last week's Spanish GP, be joining Ted and Georgie in the studio, but both Karun Chandhok, who raced in F1 as recently as last July, and Derek Warwick, President of the British Racing Drivers' Club and a veteran of 147 grands prix, will also be calling in for a chat on all things F1. There's no word yet on whether a new, larger sofa has been brought in to house our trio of guests, but do expect plenty of entertaining words from our assembled cast - and particularly from Pastor as he reminisces on what was surely one of the most remarkable maiden wins in F1 history. Yet we rather suspect that even Georgie, Ted, Pastor, Derek and Karun will be stunned into temporary silence when the show's other 'guest' is wheeled out, with Williams' FW08C coming out of retirement to briefly return to the limelight. And why this week? Because the FW08C was the car which won the 1983 Monaco Grand Prix, of course! In addition, Natalie Pinkham will be journeying deep into Kent and the Garden of England for spot of Golf at the London Club before nipping across the road to take a closer look at a venue which might be of rather more interest to F1 aficionados: Brand's Hatch, venue of the British GP as recently as 1986. But the segment of the show which is perhaps destined to garner the most amount of attention and post-broadcast chat is exclusive in-car footage of the incidents during Practice Three at Barcelona, which saw both Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher hauled before the stewards and the Mercedes driver then handed a formal reprimand. Want to see exactly what occurred on Saturday morning? Want to know how Pastor was feeling on Sunday night when his victory celebrations went up in smoke? Then you'll just have to tune in on Friday night... The F1 Show will go to air on Sky Sports F1 HD at 8pm on Friday night, and will be repeated at 11.30pm and then at 10am and 4pm on Saturday
