Martin Laird was one of seven players to book their entry to this year's Open Championship on Sunday.
Three spots were available to players in the top 10 at the Open de France who were not already exempt, while four places were up for grabs for those in the top 12 at the Quicken Loans National.
Kyle Stanley claimed his place by beating Charles Howell III in a play-off at TPC Potomac to celebrate his first PGA Tour title since 2012, with Scotland's Laird and Sung Kang taking the other two spots in Maryland.
Uihlein fired four birdies on the back nine on his way to a three-under 68 and outright second at Le Golf National, leaving the American one stroke short of eventual winner Tommy Fleetwood.
Final-hole birdies from Alexander Bjork and Mike Lorenzo-Vera saw the pair end in a share of third, securing the pair maiden appearances in major championships.
"I'm very excited about that," Bjork said. "It's been like a dream since I was a little kid to start in a Major, especially the Open, which is Europe's major. So I really look forward to playing there.
"No expectations. Just go in there and try to have fun and I'm sure it will be fun."
The Open Qualifying series continues this week, with three spots on offer at the Irish Open and four available at the Greenbrier Classic.
There are 15 places up for grabs from Open Final Qualifying, which takes place across five venues on Tuesday, with further places available at the Scottish Open and John Deere Classic.
