Sergio Garcia v Justin Rose: Masters 2017 final round top shots - No 3
Friday 30 March 2018 17:12, UK
We kick off Masters week by continuing our countdown of memorable moments from last year's final round, with today's effort a stunner from Justin Rose.
The Englishman narrowly missed out on Augusta victory after an amazing tussle with Sergio Garcia, where the momentum switched between both players during a pulsating Sunday.
Garcia had the early control and briefly held a three-shot cushion, only for Rose to fire three consecutive birdies from the sixth and find himself two clear with five holes to go.
The Spaniard responded by going birdie-eagle over his next two holes to move back tied for the lead, before piling the pressure on Rose by firing his tee shot at the 16th to within six feet of the flag.
Rose responded by sticking his tee shot to a similar distance on the par-three, before rolling in the birdie putt to give him the lead over his Ryder Cup team-mate with two holes to go.
