There is nothing unusual about seeing a hazard on a golf course, but one playing group were given a particular fright by an enormous alligator during their round.
Those on the course at Buffalo Creek Golf Club in Florida on Sunday saw their round temporarily halted as the huge reptile made its way along the fairway.
The footage, filmed by Charles Helms as he was playing a round with a friend, sees the alligator get up and amble along past a bunker before heading towards the water hazard.
"I was stunned and silent," Helms told ABC Action News. "It was just laying down, resting, when it got up and started moving towards the big lake."
The oversized creature has reportedly made a number of appearances at the course over the years, seemingly unfazed by those around him, with the alligator estimated to be as big as 15ft long.
