Bradley Dredge clings onto one-shot lead at Made In Denmark

Bradley Dredge stayed on course for his first victory in almost 10 years despite struggling to a one-over 72 in the third round of the Made in Denmark.
Dredge dug deep to limit the damage after an erratic display from tee to green, and he will take a one-shot lead into the final round at the Himmerland Resort in Farso.
The Welsh veteran held a three-stroke advantage overnight, but he followed three opening pars with a scrappy bogey-six at the fourth before he balanced the books two holes later.
Dredge picked up another birdie at the long 11th, but he came to grief in bizarre circumstances at the next as he pulled his drive into thick rough and his provisional ball then cannoned into an overhead power cable.
He found his first ball and hacked into further trouble which forced him to take a penalty drop, and he missed the green with his fourth before getting up and down to salvage a double-bogey six.
Dredge, winless on the European Tour since the 2006 Omega European Masters, clawed one shot back with a neat up-and-down at the 14th, but he tugged another wayward drive left of the target at 18 and missed a six-foot putt for par to slip to 12 under.
"It was not my best day today," said Dredge. I really struggled with the driver, which has been a big strength of mine in the last two days, so it was a tough day and I just had to try and make the most of it to stay in there and hopefully I'll play better tomorrow."
Ryder Cup hopeful Thomas Pieters shares second place after carding a 69 which featured a remarkable first five holes, starting birdie-bogey-birdie before misjudging a tricky eagle putt on the fourth and watching in disbelief as his ball rolled off the green.
The Belgian's first pitch was also short of pace and rolled back to his feet, and he eventually trudged off with a double-bogey seven before bouncing back with birdies at the next two holes.
Pieters steadied himself with a run of seven straight pars which he broke with a casual two-putt birdie after almost driving the green at 14, and he parred safely in to remain at 11 under along with American David Lipsky (67) and Spaniard Adrian Otaegui (68).
Joakim Lagergren, playing in the final group with Dredge, was three under for the day after making his fifth birdie at the 14th, but the Swede faltered down the stretch and bogeyed three of the last four holes to sign for a 71 and remain on 10 under.
Martin Kaymer, a front-runner for a Ryder Cup captain's pick, reminded European skipper Darren Clarke of his abilities when he stormed to the turn in just 30 blows with four birdies and an eagle at the sixth.
The German also birdied 12 and 14 either side of a bogey at the 13th, but he dropped shots at the next two holes before parring in to stay at eight under and well within striking distance of the leader.
Kaymer shares sixth place with Ireland's Paul Dunne and Portuguese youngster Ricardo Gouveia, who was six under on the day and 12 under overall after a flawless first 12 holes only to lose his composure as he bogeyed 12 and 17 as well as running up a double-bogey five at the 16th.
Shot of the day went to Sebastian Cappelen, who delighted the thousands of fervent fans on Himmerland Hill at the short 16th with a superb ace, holing a wedge at the 96-yard par-three.
