Pete Cowen coached both Danny Willett and Henrik Stenson to major victories in 2016, but he claimed Stenson does not listen to him enough!

Renowned coach Pete Cowen believes Henrik Stenson could have been at the top of the world rankings for years had he had listened to his advice more often.

In last year's league table of major champion coaches, Cowen celebrated a 2-2 draw with Butch Harmon after guiding Danny Willett to Masters glory before Stenson finally made his major breakthrough in record-breaking style at The Open. (Butch coaches Dustin Johnson and Jimmy Walker).

Sky Sports presenter Robert Lee caught up with Cowen during the second round of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, where Stenson led by two overnight after firing a superb 64 on day one.

Cowen demonstrated a unique practice club developed by himself and the Swede and gave an insight into Stenson's favoured warm-up routines.
