Georgia Hall looks ahead to her 2017 season

Georgia Hall says she is hoping to play her way into the Solheim Cup team by performing well in this season's majors.

The 20-year-old currently sits top of the Solheim Cup points list, ahead of English pair Charley Hull and Florentyna Parker, after a strong finish in the second half of last season.

Hall posted top-10s in her final five events of the campaign, including a share of fifth at the season-ending Dubai Ladies Masters, lifting her to further on the European Ladies Tour's Order of Merit.

"I'm in the best position I could hope to be in at the start of the year, but there is a long way to go yet," Hall told Sportswomen. "I'm trying not to think about it.
