Emiliano Grillo hurled his club in to the lake on his way to a quadruple-bogey at Bay Hill

Emiliano Grillo let his frustrations get the better of him after a nightmare start to his third round at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

The South American headed in to the weekend well placed and just a shot behind midway pacesetter Charley Hoffman, only to slide down the leaderboard during his opening few holes on Saturday.

Grillo bogeyed his opening two holes and cancelled out a birdie at the fourth with a missed par-save from eight feet at the next, before seeing his round unravel at the par-five sixth.

After sending his approach in to the hazard, Grillo saw his next attempt from the drop zone cannoned off a rock and headed back in to the drink.

His third attempt - his sixth shot - found dry land, although it didn't stop Grillo from hurling his club in to the lake in anger on his way to a quadruple-bogey nine.
