Patrick Reed is looking for a return to form when he headlines the field at this week’s Valero Texas Open, with extended coverage live on Sky Sports.

Reed hasn't registered a top-10 since the opening event of the season, where he finished tied-sixth at the SBS Tournament of Champions, and heads to TPC San Antonio off the back of consecutive missed cuts.

The Ryder Cup star narrowly missed out on victory in last year's event in his home state, finishing runner-up when Charley Hoffman birdied his final hole to take the title.

Reed kicks off Thursday's action alongside Ryan Moore and Matt Kuchar, with Hoffman part of Friday's marquee groups with Brendan Steele and Zach Johnson.

Live PGA Tour Golf

Full live coverage begins at 8.30pm on Sky Sports 4, in a week where young Australian Curtis Luck makes his professional debut and Ian Poulter needs a strong performance to secure his PGA Tour playing privileges.

Poulter is making the 10th and final start of his medical exemption, with the Englishman requiring $30,624 or roughly a top-30 finish to retain his card.
