Haru Nomura secured her third LPGA Tour title with victory over Cristie Kerr in a lengthy play-off at the Volunteers of America Texas Shootout.
Normura prevailed at the sixth sudden-death hole in strong winds at Las Collinas Country Club, after the pair had been tied on three under after 72 holes.
The pair had both made par on each of their previous five returns to the 18th tee, before Normura tapped in for birdie at the sixth attempt to claim victory.
Beginning the day two strokes clear, Nomura bogeyed the second but birdied the short sixth to move five clear of the chasing pack.
Nomura kicked off her back nine with successive blemishes and saw her lead reduced further with dropped shots at the 14th and 16th, before holing a 12-footer to double-bogey the 17th after twice narrowly avoiding the hazard.
Kerr reached the turn in 39 and dropped another shot at the 14th, but leapfrogged Nomura with a birdie-two at the penultimate hole.
Needing a final-hole birdie to force a play-off, Nomura almost holed her third shot from the rough before sinking the 10-foot putt to close a five-over 76 and take the contest to extra holes.
Jessica Korda birdied the last to close a two-over 73 and grab third spot, with Sung Hyun Park a further shot back on level par.
Charley Hull was one of four players to share ninth spot alongside Ariya Jutanugarn, So Yeon Ryu and Amy Yang, who fired a round-of-the-day 69.
Inbee Park saw her hopes end with a quadruple-bogey at the 15th after finding the water, with the South Korean closing a nine-over 80.
Amateur Eun Jeong Seong, who began the day in a share of second, ended in a share of 40th after a 15-over 86, while Angela Stanford propped up the leaderboard following a final-round 89.
