Brittany Lang gave the USA fans further cause for celebrations with a moment of short-game brilliance during day two of the Solheim Cup in Iowa.
The American side held a three-point lead after the opening day and maintained that cushion during the Saturday foursomes, before making a fast start to the afternoon session at Des Moines Golf and Country Club.
Playing alongside Brittany Lincicome in the opening match of the second session, the American duo made a fast start against Mel Reid and Carlota Ciganda by winning their opening two holes.
Further joy was to follow at the par-four seventh, where Lang's tee shot found a tough lie in the rough to the left of the fairway.
Lang responded brilliant by gouging out on a good line, where he ball took a couple of hops and dropped in to the cup for a sensational eagle-two.
