The eight-tournament series makes its debut on the European Tour this season, with this week's Italian Open the fifth event and holding a prize purse of $7million.

Alex Noren won the inaugural tournament with a dramatic victory at the BMW PGA Championship, where a stunning approach in to Wentworth's par-five 18th setting up a closing eagle.

Rafa Cabrera Bello snatched play-off victory at the Scottish Open, where he attacked the flag in style at the first extra hole to edge past Callum Shinkwin.

Ryan Fox got the galleries excited when he holed his provisional on a par-three in the same event, while Jon Rahm features for his super eagle on his way to Irish Open victory.
