Jon Rahm's approach lands on Xander Schauffele's ball in Phoenix

Jon Rahm looked bemused after a freak occurrence during the first round of the Waste Management Phoenix Open after his approach pitched on top of his playing partner's ball.
Xander Schauffele had already hit an excellent second to six feet on the second hole at TPC Scottsdale, but moments later his ball had been knocked off the green by Rahm's similarly-pinpoint wedge.
Rahm's huge drive at the 451-yard par-four left him with just 100 yards to the hole from the middle of the fairway, and he sent his second straight over the flag and would have been expecting a short putt for birdie.
But, unfortunately for the Spaniard, his ball cannoned into Schauffele's and ended up over 30 feet away from the target, while the young American was allowed to replace his ball on the spot it originally came to rest.
Both walked to the third tee with pars on their card, and Rahm went on to card a four-under 67 which left him one off the early lead, with Schauffele signing for a 68.
