Ólafía Kristinsdóttir fires hole-in-one on ANA Inspiration debut

Ólafía Kristinsdóttir had an ANA Inspiration debut to remember after a stunning hole-in-one during the opening round in California.
The 25-year-old, the first Icelandic golfer to appear on the LPGA Tour, produced a moment of magic during a level-par 72 at the Mission Hills Country Club.
Kristinsdóttir made a slow start to the week and was three over at the turn, with the European player cancelling out an eagle-three at the 11th with back-to-back blemishes over her next two holes.
A birdie-two at the 14th was followed by a bogey at the par-four 16th, before Kristinsdóttir surged up the leaderboard with a superb tee-shot at the 181-yard 17th.
Kristinsdóttir's effort on the par-three landed 20 feet from the pin but had the perfect pace as it rolled into the cup for an ace, with the tournament sponsors offering two first-class tickets to anywhere in the world as her prize.
