Sir Ian Botham had a moment to forget while taking part in a golf challenge with European Tour golfer Andrew 'Beef' Johnston.

The pair are competing in aid of the Beefy Charity Foundation, which helps to fund projects relating to chronic illnesses and other challenges facing young people.

The endurance challenge is over 18 holes, with each hole played in one of the 18 cricketing counties across the UK, and must be completed by the end of the day.

On Hole 3 at Lindrick Golf Club near Worksop, 'Beefy' attempted an iron shot in a tricky position - an attempt that didn't exactly go to plan, and had 'Beef' beside himself with hysterics!

The 'Beef v Beefy' Challenge, which began at Rockliffe Hall in Durham, is due to finish up at Johnston's home club in north Middlesex later on Wednesday.
