Rory McIlroy hits amazing shot through trees at Quail Hollow

Rory McIlroy produced a moment of magic on his way to moving top of the leaderboard at the Wells Fargo Championship.
McIlroy holds a share of the lead after the opening round at Quail Hollow, where the world No 4 delivered an incredible shot from the trees on his way to a five-under 66.
The Northern Irishman holed a 20-foot birdie at the second but found water off the par-five seventh on his way to a bogey, before following back-to-back gains from the 10th with more brilliance at the par-four 12th.
Mcilroy leaked his three-wood way left off the tee and found himself a few feet behind a big tree branch, leaving the four-time major champion with several possibilities as to how to tackle his next effort.
While Sky Sports' on-course reporter Andrew Coltart backed McIlroy not to find the putting surface, the 29-year-old had other ideas and nailed a gem of an iron to within five feet of the pin.
Although he eventually missed the birdie putt, McIlroy went through the rest of his round blemish-free and fired three straight gains from the 14th on his way to setting the clubhouse target.
