Tiger Woods has confirmed he will return to action for the final night of the TGL season on Tuesday, live on Sky Sports.

Woods has held a non-playing role with Jupiter Links GC throughout the 2026 season, having not featured on the PGA Tour since July 2024 and undergoing back surgery last October.

The 50-year-old said earlier in the year that he hoped to be fit to feature in the TGL season, although sat out of their semi-final win over Rory McIlroy's Boston Common on March 17 and Match 1 of the SoFi Cup Finals on Monday.

Los Angeles Golf Club claimed a 6-5 win to go 1-0 up in the best-of-three series, with Woods now replacing Kevin Kisner in the Jupiter Links line-up for Tuesday's season finale at the SoFi Center.

Woods, Max Homa and Tom Kim will take on Los Angeles trio Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Rose and Sahith Theegala, with Jupiter Links needing to win Match 2 (11pm UK time) to level the series and force a season decider.

Victory for Los Angeles would give them an unassailable 2-0 advantage, while a Jupiter Links win would see Match 3 take place later that evening (1am Wednesday UK time).

"As a team, we were together in this, all of us together, and it was close," Woods said after Monday's loss. "We had our opportunities; they had their opportunities. We could have flipped in the middle of that back nine, and it came down to the last hole.

"We were in a playoff once, and this was damn near there. Unfortunately, it didn't happen, but we have possibly two more matches. We're not out of this. Even with a loss we're still not out of it."

How Tiger's team lost Finals opener

Kisner burned an early chance to give Jupiter Links the early lead when he missed a six-foot birdie putt on the opening hole of triples, the 3vs3 alternate shot format, before Los Angeles won the par-five second with a birdie.

Theegala found the penalty area off the tee and later missed a three-footer for bogey at the par-three sixth, while Fleetwood lipped out from a similar distance on the next hole to give Jupiter Links a 2-1 lead.

Rose responded with a 35-foot chip-in at the eighth to level before Los Angeles declined the Hammer at the ninth - doubling the value of the hole - to see Woods' side restore their narrow advantage heading into singles.

Los Angeles moved 4-3 up when Rose won the 10th hole and Jupiter Links declined the Hammer in the next, only for Kisner to level the match at the 12th when Theegala sent another shot into the penalty area.

Homa capitalised on a missed birdie putt from Rose at the 13th to make his, before Kim and Fleetwood traded birdies at the 14th to leave Jupiter Links one ahead with one to play.

Los Angeles threw the Hammer to double the hole's value and Theegala snatched victory with a two-putt birdie, as Kisner missed his chip-in attempt, seeing them go 1-0 up in the best-of-three series.

" I feel like we got away with one today," Fleetwood said. "They're a good team. They're a tough team. I feel like I want to give them a lot of credit for the unit that they are.

"It was very close tonight. It could have gone either way. We could be stood here one game down very easily. We've had the better of them twice, but we have to focus on tomorrow [Tuesday]."
