England's Eleanor Givens won her first Ladies European Tour title at the 210th attempt with a one-shot victory at the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open.
The 37-year-old carded a five-under 66 on the third and final day in Zug, retaking the lead at 17 with her fifth birdie of a blemish-free final round and then parring the last.
Alexandra Forsterling - who chipped in for a remarkable par at 14 after her ball got stuck in a tree off the tee - shared second place on 12 under alongside Ireland's Anna Foster and Australia's Whitney Hillier.

Sweden's Kajsa Arwefjaell, who led by three shots ahead of the final round, finished fifth on 11 under after closing with a one-over 72 that featured three dropped shots across her first 10 holes.
Givens reflects on 'life changing' victory
Givens, who described her triumph as "life changing", said: "I can't believe it! I'm so excited and really proud of myself. I'm a little bit in shock as well. I did feel pretty calm today, a lot calmer than I thought I would.
"I just thought 'come on, lets go for this'.My weekend had a nightmare start [because my clubs arrived late] so it's kind of fate that I managed to win this week. I took my chance.
"I was looking last year at whether I still wanted to play or not. I decided, 'no, come on, you've got this, you've got the ability to play and still compete. I've worked really, really hard behind the scenes. To have this trophy means so much.
"It was 210th time lucky, right?! No, I always knew I had the capability to win. This is actually really my first proper time being in contention. Some of just take longer than others.It's cool I get to put to my name on this amazing trophy."
Givens third English LET winner in 2026 season
Givens - who has risen to 23rd on the LET Order of Merit - registered just one bogey all week, in her three-under opening round, with the Englishwoman also enjoying a five-under Friday, including three birdies on the trot to finish.
Her gains on Saturday came at two, three, seven and 10 ahead of picking up a decisive shot on the penultimate hole as she became the third English winner on the LET this year.
Charley Hull won the season-opening PIF Saudi Ladies International in February, while Esme Hamilton claimed a maiden title on the tour with victory at the South African Women's Open in April.
The next event on the calendar is the KPMG Women's Irish Open, from Thursday August 27, a tournament won last year by England's Lottie Woad while she was still an amateur.
