British Masters: Marco Penge makes big move in delayed second round amid continued stormy conditions to end day two ahead

Marco Penge leads by two shots midway through the second round of the rain-affected Husqvarna British Masters after another day of stormy weather at The Belfry.
After three suspensions of play on Thursday had delayed the completion of the event's first round, play restarted early on Friday morning in Sutton Coldfield with half the field resuming their opening rounds before the rest soon got theirs under way.
Play continued until 2.29pm when itplay was suspended for thunder and lightning, which caused a delay of two hours and 11 minutes before action could resume again.

Penge was among the players to both play his full first round and then start his second on Friday, completing a mammoth 32 holes in total.
He shot a three-under 69 for his first round but his second round was immediately turbocharged when, starting on the back nine, he drove the 302-yard 10th and then sunk his 11-foot putt for eagle.
Although he bogeyed the par-four 13th, Penge hit back with birdies at the 14th, 16th and 17th to go out in 32.
He quickly followed that run with further birdies at the first, second, third and fifth holes before play was suspended for the day at 7.50pm.
Speaking earlier after the completion of his first round, Penge said of his start: "It's solid. Pretty tough conditions with the wind and with the back flags, the greens being so soft, it's tough to hit it close. Bogey-free round is always nice.
"My body should be fine. I obviously just had two weeks off and haven't played that much the last couple of months. I'm pretty fresh compared to the other lads. I've got my physio and my trainer here."
Penge leads New Zealand's Daniel Hillier, who was six under through 14 holes, by two shots with England's Matthew Jordan currently tied for third on seven under. Jordan is one under for his second round with four holes to play.
Jordan had finished the elongated opening second one shot behind Spain's Nacho Elvira, who had led the way with a seven-under 65.
Early Thursday front-runner Tom McKibbin, who finished at four under, is also yet to start his second round.
Organisers confirmed that players will be back on the course to restart the second round at 7.30am on Saturday morning. Players yet to start their second round will then tee off between 8.45am and 10.45am.
Round three will be a two-tee start and will not begin before 4pm.
