Scottie Scheffler came through a final-round tussle with Viktor Hovland to cap off another PGA Tour season in style with FedExCup glory at the Tour Championship.
Scheffler overturned a three-shot deficit during an eventful Sunday at East Lake Golf Club, where he mixed six birdies with two bogeys to post a four-under 66 and pull clear of the field.
The world No 1 finished on 16 under and three strokes clear of Hovland, who led at various points on the final day, with Scheffler claiming the $10m first prize and joining Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods as the only multiple FedExCup champions.

Hovland posted a final-round 72 to finish second ahead of Ryan Gerard, with Rory McIlroy recovering from three bogeys in his first five holes to post a one-under 69 and share fourth spot.
McIlroy was joined on 11 under by Ludvig Åberg, Chris Gotterup, Russell Henley, Jacob Bridgeman, first-round leader Min Woo Lee and England's Alex Fitzpatrick, with defending champion Tommy Fleetwood a further shot behind.
How Scheffler claimed FedExCup thriller
Scheffler made an early statement by firing his tee-shot to tap-in range at the second, which lifted him within one when Hovland had to lay up from the rough at the first and opened with a bogey.
Overnight co-leader Gerard started with a double-bogey and never returned to the top of the leaderboard, as Scheffler drained a 24-foot birdie at the fourth to pull level with Hovland on 14 under.
Scheffler saved par from eight feet at the fifth but failed to take advantage of the par-five next, then cancelled out a poor approach into the seventh - resulting in a first bogey in 25 holes - by making a seven-foot birdie at the eighth.
Hovland fired a close-range birdie at the eighth to briefly reclaim the outright advantage on 15 under, only for Scheffler - playing two groups ahead - to start his back nine with a birdie and add another from five feet at the 13th to move ahead again.
The pair found themselves tied at the top when Scheffler missed the fairway off the 14th tee and made bogey, as Gotterup burned a 10-foot chance to get within one, but Hovland dropped a shot on the 13th to slip one behind with five to play.
Hovland produced a superb up and down from the 14th fairway to stay on 14 under, as Scheffler took control by recovering from finding a bunker off the 16th tee to make a 12-foot birdie and double his lead.
Scheffler two-putted the 17th and recovered from being forced to lay up to safely par the last, which was enough to close out a third PGA Tour win of the season and second of the FedExCup Playoffs.
His latest success sees him pass Woods in all-time career money earnings on the PGA Tour, while his 22 PGA Tour titles over the last five seasons is double any other player during that period.
