Richard Green somehow holes in one after his drive heads into a bunker

Aussie veteran Richard Green adopts the one-handed approach with the driver.

Richard Green enjoyed some spectacular luck as he hit a remarkable hole-in-one albatross in a pro-am in Australia.

The left-hander, a three-time European Tour winner, holed his tee shot on the par-four 15th at the Thirteenth Beach Golf Links in Barwon Heads.

But that was only half the story.

Green lashed his drive towards the bunkers at the left of the green but the trap proved to be his friend as it somehow fed the ball on to the green and straight into the cup.

“I thought I would hit a driver and see what happens, I just pushed it a little bit, it was a good shot, but I knew it was going in the bunker so I was completely oblivious to the fact that it had made its way to the hole somehow," Green said.
