Which players are still in the hunt for FedExCup glory? We take a look at who has been eliminated and who remains with two play-off events remaining.
The top 70 players in the FedExCup standings after Rory McIlroy's win at TPC Boston are eligible to play at the BMW Championship, which begins on Thursday live on Sky Sports.
Six of the field who started the Deutsche Bank outside of the top 70 have progressed to this week's event at Crooked Stick, with David Hearn (59th) and Billy Hurley III (51st) making big strides up the points list after posting top-10 finishes.
Hudson Swafford (61st), Vaughn Taylor (64th) and Chris Kirk (66th) also did enough to extend their seasons, as Marc Leishman rose one place from 71st to claim the final qualification spot.
Masters champion Danny Willett (93rd) was eliminated from the play-offs after not featuring in Boston, while Ryder Cup hopeful Jim Furyk (86th) and American veteran Steve Stricker (76th) didn't do enough to progress to the next event.
At the other end of the standings, McIlroy's two-shot victory parachuted the Northern Irishman 34 places in the standings to fourth spot and within 84 points of US Open champion Dustin Johnson.
The big mover of the week was runner-up Paul Casey, who rose from 59th to 10th after producing his best performance of the year.
Barclays champion Patrick Reed narrowly extended his advantage at the top with a tied-fifth finish, as world No 1 and nearest challenger Jason Day made the cut on the mark on his way to a share of 15th.
Each play-off winner claims 2,000 FedExCup points, quadruple the amount awarded for a regular PGA Tour event, with points filtered down to the final positions for the rest of the field.
Only those inside the top 30 in the standings after the BMW Championship will be in the field for the season-ending Tour Championship at East Lake, where the $10million FedExCup bonus is up for grabs.
Watch the FedExCup play-offs live on Sky Sports - your home of golf. Live coverage of the BMW Championship begins on Thursday from 8pm.
