Rory McIlroy extends lead over Danny Willett on the Race to Dubai

Rory McIlroy extended his lead in the Race to Dubai standings, despite a disappointing finish at the Turkish Airlines Open.
The world No 3 went into the final round in Antalya within one of the lead but dropped three shots in a five-hole stretch around the turn on his way to a one-under 71, leaving him in a tie for sixth.
Despite missing out on a fourth victory in 2015, finishing four strokes adrift of eventual winner Victor Dubuisson, McIlroy was still able to move 400,000 points clear of Danny Willett at the top of the rankings.
"It's always disappointing whenever you have a chance to win and you don't play well enough to do that," McIlroy said. "I'll be going away from this tournament very disappointed with how I played today.
"But I'm still playing two more events this year and I feel like my game is good enough to give myself two opportunities to win again."
Willett stays second and will feature in all of the final three events as he attempts to derail McIlroy's bid for a third Race to Dubai title in four years, while Shane Lowry has leapfrogged Louis Oosthuizen and Justin Rose in to third spot thanks to a sixth top-10 finish of the season.

Kiradech Aphibarnrat and Byeong Hun An have both broken in to the top 10 after strong displays at the Montgomerie Maxx Royal, but the biggest mover was Dubuisson who shot up 42 places in to seventh thanks to his one-shot win.
