Thorbjorn Olesen broke the course record to open up a commanding six-shot lead at the Turkish Airlines Open.
In another round of low scoring at Regnum Carya Golf and Spa Resort, Olesen fired eight birdies and an eagle on his way to a nine-under 62 to break the record round set by Adrian Otaegui earlier in the day.
Otaegui posted a blemish-free 63 in Antalya to move up to second alongside Thongchai Jaidee on nine under, as top seed Danny Willett slid down the leaderboard with a three-over 74.
Following on from a bogey-free 65 on Thursday, Olesen posted four birdies on the front-nine of his second round to reach the turn two clear of Otaegui and Jorge Campillo.
The Dane recovered from a dropped shot at the 11th to post back-to-back gains from the 13th, before pulling further clear with a 30-foot eagle at the par-five 15th.
After whipping his recovery from the trees at the 17th to set up a birdie-three, Olesen produced an aggressive approach to pick up another shot at the last.
"I was hoping for something good to come," Olesen told Sky Sports. "Yesterday was a great putting display and today I just played better.
"I feel like I've been up in contention in some big events and feel pretty comfortable, but there are still 36 holes to go and a lot of golf to be played."
Otaegui had birdied his first five holes on his way to setting the early pace, with Joakim Lagergren a further stroke back following a blemish-free 64.
One-time joint-leader Campillo double-bogeyed the last to slip to seven over for the week, as overnight leader George Coetzee racked up a quadruple-bogey eight at the 11th on his way to a two-over 73.
Lee Westwood posted a second successive 70 as Willett, who needs to finish fifth or better to reclaim top spot in the Race to Dubai, failed to post a single birdie in a round of missed opportunities.
