Highlights of Alex Noren's stunning final round at the 2016 Nedbank Golf Challenge

Alex Noren returns to South Africa this week for the Nedbank Golf Challenge, a year on from producing one of the rounds of career on his way to victory at Sun City.

The world No 16 claimed a fourth title in 11 European Tour starts in spectacular style at Gary Player CC, briefly threatening a sub-60 round on his way to a six-shot win.

Noren began the final round six strokes off the pace but drained a 30-footer at the first and added five more birdies on his way to reaching the turn in 30.

The Swede continued his rise up the leaderboard by holing a long-range eagle putt at the 10th and pitching in from over the green to birdie the next, taking him to nine under for his round.

A bogey at the 14th ended any hopes of a 59, although a birdie at the 16th and pars over the closing holes closed a nine-under 63 - four shots lower than any player managed during the final round.
