Golfer Andreas Harto proposes to girlfriend during the Made In Denmark

He may have missed the cut at the Made In Denmark, but Andreas Harto still left Himmerland with the perfect present.

Harto faced an early exit for the eighth time in 15 starts after carding a three-over 73 during his second round, although it will be his actions around the 16th green that will be remembered for years to come. 

The world No 658 slipped down the leaderboard after following a double-bogey at the fifth with a run of four straight bogeys around the turn, but closed his tournament in memorable fashion.

Having already picked up shots at the 11th and 15th, the home star rolled in a lengthy birdie putt at the 16th in front of a packed Himmerland Hill before pointing in the direction of his girlfriend.

After calling her down from the shocked crowd, the Challenge Tour player got down on one knee and popped the question.
