Amateur David Colby fired a hole-in-one during the final round of the CareerBuilder Challenge

A day on from Adam Hadwin making history at the CareerBuilder Challenge, an amateur golfer had a round to remember at the Stadium Course.

Hadwin made the headlines with his round of 59 on Saturday, but it was unknown David Colby who produced the shot of the final day on the Stadium Course.

Colby reached the 17th top of the amateur leaderboard and extended his advantage with a stunning tee shot on the island par-three.

The amateur, wearing some colourful trousers, saw his bright yellow ball land on the dancefloor and take a couple of short hops before rolling straight in to the cup for an ace.

The hole-in-one earned Colby a brand new Genesis G80, although it took the cheers from the spectators around the green for him to even realise his ball had actually finished in the hole!
