Rickie Fowler birdied his last three holes to take a one-shot lead into the final round of the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
The American's fast finish at TPC Scottsdale closed a four-under 67 and saw him edge ahead of a three-way tie on 13 under.
Jon Rahm posted a six-under 65 to join Chez Reavie and Bryson DeChambeau in a share of second, with Phil Mickelson one of three players sitting two strokes off the pace.
A record crowd of 216,818 filled the Stadium Course on Saturday, where 13 players head into the final round within three strokes of the lead.
Beginning the day in a share of the advantage, Fowler missed the green and bogeyed the par-three fourth but bounced back to post a close-range birdie at the eighth.
Fowler rolled in from six feet at the 13th and drained an 18-footer at the 16th, before converting a birdie at the 17th and picking up a 10-foot gain at the par-four last.
Five birdies in a seven-hole stretch on the back nine lifted Rahm within one of the lead, as Reavie closed with successive gains and DeChambeau carded a three-under 68 to also get to 13 under.
Mickelson is joined two strokes off the pace by Xander Schauffele and Daniel Berger, with Gary Woodland one of six players sharing eighth spot.
