Each day ahead of the US Open we'll be taking a look back at the most recent winners of the major. We finish with Brooks Koepka at Erin Hills last year.
The American became the seventh maiden major winner in a row as he powered to a four-shot victory in Wisconsin.
Rickie Fowler was the early pace-setter as he shot a bogey-free round of 65 to equal the US Open record for a lowest first-round score in relation to par (-7), with Koepka two shots further back and tied for fourth.
Koepka moved into the joint lead at the end of day two, alongside Paul Casey, Brian Harman and Tommy Fleetwood, but Harman's impressive third round saw him lead outright heading into the final day. Justin Thomas also moved into contention with a record-equalling nine-under 63.
Koepka was the only man who could last the course, however, as he shot a 67 on the final day to hold off Harman, who shot 72 and had to settle for joint-second alongside Hideki Matsuyama - who finished with an impressive 66 for 12 under.
