Henrik Stenson and Sergio Garcia on Sky Sports Facebook at The Open

Defending champion Henrik Stenson and Masters champion Sergio Garcia were among the stars to appear in Sky Sports' social media coverage from The Open at Royal Birkdale on Tuesday.

The Sky Sports digital team are on-site all week at the third major of the year to offer lots of behind the scenes coverage throughout the Championship, live on our dedicated Open channel.

Presenter Henni Goya patrolled the fairways to grab the world's top players as they made their way through the practice rounds, with Garcia part of an all-Spanish trio to join them live on the new Sky Sports Golf Facebook page.

Garcia and soon-to-be wife Angela Akins caught up with Henni about a whirlwind 2017 and their wedding plans for next week, with last week's winner Rafa Cabrera Bello and Pablo Larrazabal also joining in for a chat.

Rory McIlroy stopped by to tell Henni about how he is looking to bounce back from his recent missed cuts, with former Open champion Darren Clarke discussing the state of his game heading in to the week.

Jon Rahm joined them live on Facebook for a walk and talk up the 18th during his round with Jordan Spieth and Phil Mickelson, while Stenson stopped by at the new Social Media zone ahead of his title defence.
