Shane Lowry and Davis Love III brought huge roars from the Augusta patrons by acing the 16th hole at the Masters.

We may have had nine in the par three contest, but until midway through Sunday afternoon we were still waiting for our first ace of the 2016 Masters - and in the space of 30 minutes we saw two.

First up was Ireland's Lowry, who fired his eight-iron to the right of the hole and then saw it roll some 25 feet down the slope to find it's way to the cup.

Lowry was followed a few groups later by US Ryder Cup captain Love III who saw an almost identical shot off the tee produce exactly the same result.
