Sergio Garcia v Justin Rose: Masters 2017 final round top shots - No 5
Saturday 31 March 2018 07:45, UK
We have been looking back at some of the memorable moments from last year’s final round at Augusta. Today’s Masters countdown recalls a shot of brilliance from Sergio Garcia.
The Spaniard held a three-shot lead after five holes on Sunday, only for Rose to birdie three in a row from the sixth and Garcia to bogey the 10th and 12th to hand the Englishman the advantage.
Garcia made a great par-save at the 13th after pulling his tee shot and having to take a drop, before a close-range birdie at the par-four next halved Rose's advantage.
As Rose found the par-five green and two-putted from distance for birdie to get to nine under, Garcia fired a stunning approach with his second shot to set up an eagle to move tied for the lead.
