Ryder Cup tournament director promises 'special atmosphere' at Hazeltine

Hazeltine National will be a sea of red and white for this year’s Ryder Cup as USA aim to overturn a run of three consecutive tournament defeats.
Gleneagles was covered in blue as Europe beat USA 16.5-11.5 in 2014, to record their seventh victory in the last eight Ryder Cup tournaments.
And 2016 tournament director, Jeff Hintz, revealed USA captain Davis Love III has been an increasingly visible presence at the golf course in recent months.
"If you remember back to Gleneagles pretty much everything was blue and here at Hazeltine pretty much everything will be red and white," Hintz told Sky Sports News HQ.
"It's pretty neat having our home match here in the United States and Davis has been involved in quite a bit of the planning actually.
"He was here last week for the captain's announcement and he will be here throughout these coming weeks. He's excited, we're excited and it really is going to be a special atmosphere.
"We can't wait to welcome people from all over the world here to Minnesota. We're ready to go, we've been ready for it for the best part of two-and-half to three years and it's going to be an exciting week here in Chaska, Minnesota."
He added: "It's really starting to look sharp here at Hazeltine.
"We have 4000+ volunteers and we're expecting over 250,000 people here for the week of the Ryder Cup.
"We expect over 250,000 hamburgers and sandwiches to be sold and get this - we expect to sell 600,000 servings of beer."
