The European Tour travels east this week for a one-off tournament in Asia. The Avantha Masters in India is being staged for a fourth time in five years and, once again, will be co-sanctioned by the Asian and European Tours. Designed by Arnold Palmer and opened in 1999, the DLF Country Club in New Delhi is not particularly long but with its undulating putting surfaces the key to low scoring will be accurate approach play with the mid-to-short irons. Many of the tree-lined fairways are also undulating with water coming into play on seven holes. Who's taking part this week? Jamie Donaldson: One of the better players yet to win on Tour and in this week's mediocre field must fancy his chances. He only missed two cuts during 2011. Soren Hansen: Although the Dane has slipped outside the top 200 of the world ranking, his performances of late have seen a slight up-turn in form - was fifth at Doha two weeks ago. Gregory Havret: Not the most consistent of pros but from time-to-time enjoys top-class performances. Runner-up to Rory McIlroy at the Hong Kong Open in December, the 35-year-old Frenchman has three Tour wins to his credit. Shiv Kapur: Would love to win his maiden Tour title on home soil, although his form of late has taken a dip. However, his record on this course is fairly good - a brace of top-10s from three starts. Joost Luiten: The Dutchman enjoyed a breakthrough season on Tour in 2011 when he secured his maiden title during autumn en route to finishing 24th in the Race to Dubai standings. Jeev-Milkha Singh: Slowly returning to his form of a few years ago when he captured three European Tour titles in the space of 26 months and made his way into the top-30 of the world ranking.
