Adam Scott pitched in for eagle on the 8th at Baltusrol to put himself 6-under at the US PGA Championship.

Adam Scott and Thongchai Jaidee produced brilliant shots to hole out from the fairway during their final rounds at the PGA Championship.

Jaidee looked to have battle on his hands to save par at the par four third as he prepared to take his third shot, still over 100 yards from the pin having pulled his drive into thick rough.

However, the 46-year-old Thai star pitched the ball onto the green and watched as it span sharply back towards, and ultimately into, the hole to hand him his second birdie of the round.

But Scott went one better at the eighth hole later in the day as he provided the perfect response to two bogeys in four holes.

The Australian hammered a 311-yard drive which left him just 70 yards to the hole, and he clipped a sublime wedge which hopped into the cup to leave Scott high-fiving major caddie Stevie Williams.
