Conor Benn thinks Chris Eubank Sr overstepped the mark

Conor Benn believes violence would have erupted had his father Nigel been there for the press conference row with Chris Eubank.

Conor Benn, who is preparing for his fourth professional bout on a card which sees Chris Eubank Jr defend his British middleweight title, took exception to Eubank Sr expressing his opinion on the absence of his former rival - 'The Dark Destroyer'.

Having interjected and demanded Eubank stop speculating on his personal life during the open press conference, Benn was asked how it might have been different had his own father been present and told Sky Sports in an exclusive interview: "I think there would have been fists flying all about the room.

"He'd have said, 'I don't like him; No 1. No 2; don't talk about my son in a disrespectful manner'. I just think it was very unnecessary and very uncalled for.

Conor Benn hit back at Chris Eubank Sr during Wednesday press conference

"Who knows what he's doing? He's all over the gaff. He doesn't know what his right hand is doing. He wants to talk about me but what really does he know about me and my personal life?

"He wants to sit in front of all those cameras and talk about my personal life? Excuse me. Don't do that, mate."
